Without a doubt, my favourite areas to take photographs are industrial precincts – there’s something about the large blocks of colour and absence of people that I really rather enjoy! The downside of this is that, during the week at least – they open early, and therefore are limited to weekend photographing expeditions… the upside then being that they are rarely open on a Sunday. I’ve exhausted just about every industrial area near my place for cool locations – and it’s sad just how well I know them all! A change in lighting and time of day can make the world of difference, though… I was out early this week and found some places in the morning light before they opened – yay for super bright colours and glorious shadows. This little collection is from all over the place in the last few days: Northgate, Geebung, Virginia and throw in a couple of random Milton and Albion ones for good measure!
