How on earth did I get to #99? I guess at least it is December… imagine if it was March?! Last Sunday wasn’t as rainy as expected, so I went for a drive with my camera… and haven’t had a chance to go through what I took until tonight! There’s a little collection of before/afters – sadly, the majority of them are in the same depressing tune as per the others I’ve found recently. That said, I’ve got a great one coming that I’ve been eyeing off – I just have to wait until no one is around to go and take it!
The itch of it’s-been-too-long-since-I’ve-been-out-with-my-camera is back, and the weather forecast is for rain all weekend (I think?) – so it could be a fun one! I’m also due to sit down and go through my thousands of images (and for once, I’m not exaggerating) in some sort of attempt to choose a few to print in my 2014 edition books. The whole process took me so long for the 2013 series, so I’m certainly going to plan on being more organised this time around – life is a bit less chaos now, too – so that should definitely help!
It’s been a little while since I’ve remembered to actually take one of these photos – normally I look at the ‘no light’ scene in disdain and refuse to take a photo while I wait impatiently for the sun to come back. I’ve photographed this building more than once (but weirdly, never this door – and it’s definitely not new!), so I can safely say it is in prime position to get the most incredible light, whether it be early morning, midday or late afternoon. The places you find in a dead-end industrial street, right?! These two were taken a minute apart.
Random little assortment today in an attempt to get myself in front of my computer – I’m not feeling the love at the moment! I’m much happier being out and about finding new places and things than sitting in an office staring at a screen. These are from all over the place.. do you like my bonus butterfly?
It was awkward kneeling in the garden to take the first version of this, and it was definitely just as awkward the second time around… although clearly I was much more determined the first time, since the second photo is awful! The panels have changed (really? state the obvious much?!), but some plants have grown, some (a lot!) have died… and it’s looking like one has been completely replaced with a different type altogether. Weirdly, the dates and times are strangely similar on these – especially because I had no plan whatsoever to end up here this weekend, it just happened.
