What can I say? I had a colourful weekend! With lots of orange in it, strangely. Red and blue are by far the easiest colours to find (and one of the most common combinations), followed closely by yellow. Purple and orange, on the other hand, are much more elusive… as is pink, but I’m not in the least concerned about that one! It’s good to be out with my camera again… I’ve spent way too much time working on my computer lately than taking photos – and whilst this has meant I’ve got a few big items ticked off my list, it also means my work/life/creative balance is out of sorts! And yes, that is definitely a thing.

It’s a corrugated & door kind of day. I find it amazing how one ‘type’ of material can look so different!

This is another before/after combination that has been around for a little while… it’s just taken me a bit to get to it to photograph! While the new beige/black colour scheme certainly looks neat and smart, I think it lacks a bit of the impact the green had – there’s certainly less personality, anyway. I can’t help but think that all the rust is still there… glad I wasn’t painting over the top! I love comparing these two – they’re so different, but all the dints, patches and holes are still there – even if they are a little bit harder to see in the second image. Isn’t it amazing what a coat of paint can do?

This is the least amount of photos I’ve taken in weeks… couldn’t really tell you why. I look at the shadows in #1 every day on my way to work – and, although they’re going in the opposite direction at that time of day, I still love them.

So… it turns out that I was a little bit over-excited when I photographed this last time… too excited to notice that it wasn’t actually finished! Rather than post the same images here again, pay a visit to the link… and check out the difference below! I think the longer I look, the more differences I notice.
